Getting started
What lensOS is, where the project stands, and how to follow along today.
lensOS is an Arch-based Linux distribution that’s light and beautiful: a liquid-glass desktop with fluid motion, in under 800 MB of memory. It uses Arch’s official repositories and the AUR directly, and adds a small set of its own signed packages on top.
Where things stand
lensOS is in development. Nightly ISOs are on the download page, and installs update with
lens update. There’s no stable release yet. See the roadmap for the plan.
You can follow along today by:
- reading the news for development updates
- checking the roadmap as items get ticked off
- getting in touch through the contact page
